Liburu honetan biltzen dira, antologia gisa, Gregorio Mujika euskaltzaleak (1882-1931) argitara emandako hainbat testu, XX. mendearen hasieratik 1930. urtean, hurrengoan gazte zelarik eta 50 urte bete gabe hil arte. Gregorio Mujikak ez zuen adskripzio partidistarik, eta neutraltasun politiko horretatik abiatuta, hainbat gai ukitu zuen eta pentsaera oso artikulatu bat sortu zuen, betiere zentzu instituzional altuan eraikia. Bere pentsaeraren ardatza euskara zen, baina horretaz aparte, ekonomiaz, literaturaz eta, oro har, kulturaz etengabe aritu zen, euskaraz zein gaztelaniaz argitaratutako hainbat artikulu, erreportaje zein elkarrizketetan. Horietako batzuk, gure ustez inportanteenak, ekarri ditugu liburu honetara. Mujikak lagundu zuen Euskal Esnalea eta Eusko Ikaskuntza eratzen, Euskal Esnalea, Euskalerriaren Alde eta Juventud aldizkariak zuzendu eta Donostiako Argia astekaria abiatzen lagundu zuen, eta bertan idatzi ere bai. Gregorio Mujika belaunaldien arteko zubi-lana egiteko orduan oso pertsonaia garrantzitsua izan zen. Ez da gutxi, alajaina. |
