Garezurra berebiziko garrantzia duen hezur-multzo berezia da, bereziki garunari euskarri eta babes ematen dion aldetik, baina baita arnasa eta elikagaiak barneratzeko dugun sarbidea garezurrean delako eta ikusmena eta entzumena bezalako zentzumen bereziak ere buruan dauzkagulako. Garezurraren anatomiaren oinarrizko ezagutza osasungintzako edozein lanbidetan garrantzitsua bada ere, zenbait espezialitatek ezagutza zehatzagoa eskatzen dute, adibidez neurokirurgiak edo otorrinolaringologiak, besteak beste. Eskuliburu honetan garezurrak morfologia aldetik dituen ezaugarri nagusiak dira hizpide, baina batez ere bere eraikuntzan esku hartzen duten banakako hezurren egituraz eta berauen arteko harremanaz ere aritzen da. Halaber, garezurraren anatomia klinikako irudi-tekniken bidez ere aztertzen da. |
