Informazioaren teknologietan erabilitako zuntz optiko bidezko komunikazio-sistemak lantzen ditu testuliburu honek. Hainbat urtetan erabili eta landutako eskola-apunteen bilketa eta orrazketaren emaitza da testuliburu honen argitalpena. Bertan aurkeztutako materiala nagusiki telekomunikazioaren ingeniaritzako ikasleei zuzendurik badago ere, arloko profesionalek ere erabil dezakete kontsulta-tresna azkar gisa. Edukiari dagokionez, testuliburu honek komunikazio optikoen gaiari ikuspuntu teorikotik zein praktikotik heltzen dio. Azaldutako kontzeptu eta ideiak finkatzeko asmoz, hainbat adibide eta irudi tartekatzen ditu. Horrela, testuliburu honek frogatzen du nola hedatzen den argia zuntz optikoetan, eta argi hori sortzen duten igorleak, zein detektatzen duten hargailuak ere deskribatzen ditu. Anplifikazio optikoari eta WDM-sistemei buruzko funtsezko printzipioak ere jasotzen ditu. Horrez gain, polimerozko zuntz optikoekin izandako azken lorpenen analisi argitaragabea biltzen du eranskinak. Egileak irakasle lanetan dihardute Euskal Herriko Unibertsitateko (UPV/EHUko) Komunikazioak Ingeniaritza Sailean. Ikerkuntza arloan, zuntz optikoetan oinarritutako sentsoreen diseinu eta garapenean egiten dute lan, baita zuntz optiko mikroegituratuen fabrikazioan ere. |
